Dan's Garage Door Service has purchased the 45 year old Alton Fence and Door Company; offering residents and business owners in the Greater Riverbend area high-quality fence and gate installation, repair, and replacement services. We specialize in chain link, vinyl, metal, and wood fencing. If your fencing or gate system is broken or malfunctioning, it’s important to allow a professional to inspect and ensure it’s repaired safely.
Alton Fence & Door was first established in 1976. The original owners were Roy and Thelma Ferguson. In 2009, the couple retired and sold their family owned and operated business to another local resident, Ron Garner, owner of Garner's Tree Service. In January 2020, Garner sold the fence and door business to Danny Rowe, who is no stranger to the garage door industry. Since 1977, Dan and his family have owned and operated Dan's Garage Door Service.
We are excited for this new opportunity to provide sales and service for fencing, gates, flags and carports. A huge showroom is located at 5501 Godfrey Road, in Godfrey Illinois, with garage doors, automatic garage door openers, fencing and gates on display. They also have a section of the showroom set aside as a parts store for those those do-it-yourself projects.
